The purpose of the Association is to a) promote research and the exchange of scientific information concerning the liver; b) foster clinical and scientific studies within the UK; c) promote education on liver diseases and their management; d) promote public awareness of liver diseases; e) advise national health authorities regarding all aspects of liver disease, clinical services and research.
