(1)TO PROMOTE HIGH STANDARDS OF CONTEMPORARY ART BY THE PROVISION OF AWARDS TO YOUNG ARTISTS, AND IN PARTICULAR TO ARTISTS UNDER THE AGE OF 25 YEARS, WHO HAVE BEEN ADJUDGED BY THE ASSOCIATION THE MOST PROMISING CONTEMPORARY YOUNG ARTISTS; AND (11)TO ADVANCE AND EDUCATE THE AESTHETIC TASTE OF THE PUBLIC IN RELATION TO CONTEMPORARY ART IN PARTICULAR BY PROMOTING PUBLIC EDUCATION AND DISCOURSE ABOUT CONTEMPORARY ART AND ARTISTS ENGAGED IN THE CREATION OF CONTEMPORARY ART.
