(1) SUBJECT TO THE PAYMENT OF EXPENSES AFORESAID, THE TRUSTEE SHALL APPLY THE INCOME AND AT ITS DISCRETION THE WHOLE OR PART OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CHARITY, IN OR TOWARDS THE PURCHASE OF A SITE FOR, OR THE ERECTION, IMPROVEMENT OR ENLARGEMENT OF THE PREMISES OF ANY SCHOOL OR SCHOOLS WITH A PREFERENCE FOR PRIMARY SCHOOLS WHICH ARE OR ARE TO BE MAINTAINED AS VOLUNTARY SCHOOLS IN THE DIOCESE OF GLOUCESTER IN WHICH RELIGIOUS INSTRUCTION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRINCIPLES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND IS, OR IS TO BE, GIVEN. (2) THE TRUSTEE MAY, IN ADDITION, APPLY THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY IN ADVANCING EDUCATION THROUGH THE SUPPORT (BOTH FINANCIAL AND NON-FINANCIAL) OF AN ACADEMY OR ACADEMY TRUST OR ANY ENDOWMENT FUND ASSOCIATED WITH SUCH AN ACADEMY, IN ANY WAY IT SEES FIT. (3) THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY MAY ALSO BE APPLIED IN ADVANCING EDUCATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH PRINCIPLES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND AT ANY SUCH SCHOOL OR ACADEMY DESCRIBED IN 4(1) OR 4(2) ABOVE.
