(1) TO PROTECT AND CONSERVE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THE AREA KNOWN AS THE YORKSHIRE DALES PRIMARILY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY INCLUDING ANY BUILDINGS WHICH ARE OF ARCHITECTURAL,HISTORIC OR EDUCATIONAL MERIT AND ALSO INCLUDING FLORA AND FAUNA OF THE AREA, AND TO FURTHER SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSE OR PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE YORKSHIRE DALES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE.. (2) TO FURTHER SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSE AS OUTLINED AT (1) ABOVE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN ANY AREA OR AREAS ADJOINING THE YORKSHIRE DALES AND ELSEWHERE AS THE TRUSTEE SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE. (3) TO FURTHER SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS OUTLINED IN (1) ABOVE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN ANY AREA WITHIN ENGLAND AND WALES WHERE IN THE OPINION OF THE TRUSTEES THE EXPERTISE OF THE CHARITY AND ITS OFFICERS IS REQUIRED.
