3.1 TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE RIGHTS, WELFARE AND HEALTH OF INDIVIDUALS AFFECTED BY THE GENETIC CONDITION KNOWN AS FRAGILE X SYNDROME (HEREINAFTER CALLED "THE SYNDROME") AND THEIR FAMILIES AND TO SUPPORT SUCH INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES. 3.2 TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION ABOUT THE SYNDROME; AND 3.3 TO PROMOTE RESEARCH INTO THE SYNDROME AND TO PUBLISH THE USEFUL RESULTS THEREOF.
