THE OBJECTS OF THE TRUST ARE TO PROMOTE THE FOLLOWING CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS OF ENGLAND AND WALES: 3.1 TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC OF ALL AGES: 3.1.1 IN THE ARTS AND SCIENCES, PARTICULARLY HISTORY, INDUSTRIAL ARCHAEOLOGY AND THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT, BY THE PRESERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT OF THE MILL AND ITS SETTING IN THE TORRS GORGE AREA; 3.1.2 BY MEANS OF RESEARCH, DISSEMINATION AND EXHIBITION OF MATERIAL RELEVANT TO THE MILL AND ITS ENVIRONMENT; 3.1.3 BY PROVIDING TRAINING OR RETRAINING OPPORTUNITIES, PARTICULARLY AMONG UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE, AND PROVIDING UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE WITH WORK; 3.1.4 BY CREATING TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES BY THE PROVISION OF REFURBISHED, REDEVELOPED OR NEWLY BUILT WORKSPACES, BUILDINGS AND/OR LAND FOR USE ON FAVOURABLE TERMS; 3.1.5 THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SUSTAINABLE ENERGY POTENTIAL OF THE SITE; 3.1.6 BY IMPROVING PUBLIC ACCESS TO THE MILL; 3.1.7 BY INCREASING THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF, AND AWARENESS OF, THE ENVIRONMENT AND ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY OF THE MILL, THE RIVER VALLEY AND THE TORRS GORGE AREA; 3.2 SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE OBJECTS AS THE TRUST SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE.
