2.1 ADVANCE EDUCATION AND RESEARCH IN THE SUBJECTS OF CITIZENSHIP AND VOLUNTEERING BY YOUNG PEOPLE. 2.2 PROMOTE VOLUNTEERING BY YOUNG PEOPLE TO DEVELOP THEIR CAPABILITIES AND CAPACITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC AND IN PARTICULAR BY: (A) PROVIDING ADVICE AND INFORMATION TO ALL SECTORS OF SOCIETY TO HELP ENHANCE VOLUNTARY OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE; (B) RAISING AWARENESS OF YOUNG PEOPLE AND WIDER SOCIETY OF THE BENEFITS OF VOLUNTEERING; AND (C) PROVIDING INFORMATION AND ADVICE TO YOUNG PEOPLE ABOUT OPPORTUNITIES TO VOLUNTEER AND ABOUT VOLUNTEERING. 2.3 ADVANCE IN LIFE AND HELP YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH PROVIDING SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES WHICH DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE AS RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS AND AS ACTIVE MEMBERS OF THEIR LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITIES.
