THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY: (1) ESTABLISHING AND ASSISTING IN THE ESTABLISHMENT OF SCHOOLS FOR CHILDREN AS DEFINED BELOW; (2) SUPPORTING WESTSIDE ACADEMY TRUST AND SUCH SCHOOLS; AND (3) THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES AND SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN AS DEFINED BELOW. IN THIS CLAUSE THE CHILDREN REFERRED TO ARE DEFINED AS PEOPLE OF SCHOOL AGE, INCLUDING IN PARTICULAR PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN EXCLUDED FROM MAINSTREAM EDUCATION, OR ARE AT RISK OF EXCLUSION, OR WHO HAVE SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS.
