Aims & activities

We work to increase awareness of public & healthcare professionals of the signs & symptoms of childhood brain tumours & the need for improvements in support, treatment and research. We provide assistance grants to families in East Anglia who have a child newly diagnosed with a brain tumour. We are working on a 'Family Support' package for children in Norfolk, including a specialist role.

TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN SUFFERING FROM BRAIN TUMOURS (ESPECIALLY RARE/UNUSUAL PRESENTATIONS) AND THEIR FAMILIES BY; PROVIDING INFORMATION, ADVOCACY AND LOCAL SUPPORT GROUPS PROVIDING BASIC FINANCIAL SUPPORT (E.G. HOSPITAL ASSOCIATED COSTS, CAR PARKING ETC.) FUND RESEARCH INTO BRAIN CANCER AND POTENTIAL TREATMENTS THROUGH GRANTS TO RESEARCH TEAMS AND SUPPORT OF UMBRELLA ORGANISATIONS TO RAISE AWARENESS OF THE DISEASE AND IT'S DEBILITATING EFFECTS.
