The object of the charity is for the advancement of education and learning at Heathfield School as the headmistress shall in her absolute discretion think fit and, in particular to apply, the said income for establishing and maintaining a bursary or bursaries to be called the "The St Mary's School Wantage Bursaries."

THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION OF PUPILS AT THE SCHOOL, IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, BY THE PROVISION OF BURSARIES TO PUPILS AT THE SCHOOL. IN FURTHERING THE OBJECTS, PREFERENCE SHALL BE GIVEN TO BENEFICIARIES IN THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES: SISTERS, DAUGHTERS AND GRANDDAUGHTERS OF FORMER PUPILS OF ST MARY'S; DAUGHTERS AND GRANDDAUGHTERS OF FORMER MEMBERS OF STAFF AND VISITING MUSIC TEACHERS OF ST MARY'S; AND PUPILS OF THE SCHOOL WITH A FAMILY CONNECTION TO THE CONVENT OF ST MARY THE VIRGIN, WANTAGE.
