THE RELIEF OF POVERTY AND FINANCIAL HARDSHIP AMONGST PRISONERS AND OTHER CONVICTED PEOPLE LIVING IN THE UNITED KINGDOM BY PROVIDING INVESTIGATION SERVICES, LEGAL ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE REGARDING APPEALS OF CRIMINAL CONVICTIONS AND SENTENCES VIA APPLICATIONS TO THE CRIMINAL CASES REVIEW COMMISSION AND THE COURT OF APPEAL. 2. PROMOTING THE SOUND ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE AND PROPER ADMINISTRATION OF THE LAW FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, IN PARTICULAR BY ALL OR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING: A. PROVIDING INVESTIGATION SERVICES, LEGAL ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE REGARDING APPEALS OF CRIMINAL CONVICTIONS AND SENTENCES VIA APPLICATIONS TO THE CRIMINAL CASES REVIEW COMMISSION AND THE COURT OF APPEAL TO PERSONS WHO, THROUGH LACK OF MEANS, WOULD OTHERWISE BE UNABLE TO AFFORD THEM. B. INFORMING AND EDUCATING CRIMINAL JUSTICE POLICY MAKERS, INVESTIGATING AND PROSECUTING AUTHORITIES, THE LEGAL PROFESSION AND THE PUBLIC ABOUT ANY SYSTEMIC ISSUES WHICH NEED TO BE ADDRESSED TO AVOID UNSAFE CONVICTIONS.
